Welcome to School Cafe

School Food and Nutrition Services of New Orleans, Inc. serves a growing number of 27,000 children a well-balanced lunch at 85 schools and 5,000 children a well-balanced breakfast at 44 schools.

Our goal is to serve well-balanced foods that children enjoy at a reasonable price. Despite the escalating costs of food, we have managed to maintain our low price making us the best deal in town!

We participate in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program which require meeting USDA dietary guidelines of nutrient density.

Many of our delicious menu items are made from scratch.

Meals are available at free and reduced rates for families who apply and qualify.

We look forward to serving your children. For your convenience, a nutritious breakfast and lunch are served each day at participating schools. To find out more about having a nutritious breakfast offered at your child's school, please contact your child's principal.
