Separation of Menus
Surveys from last school year prompted a menu separation: Elementary School Menu and High School Menu. Although the menus are similar, the Elementary School Menu offers a few more "kid-friendly" items and the High School Menu offers a few more "hearty appetite" items.

Scratch Cooking
Did you notice the asterisk (*) by multiple items on the menu? This denotes menu items that are prepared in the cafeteria. Many of these items are made from scratch using our own Archdiocese School Food Service recipes!

Whole Grains
We are excited to announce that we will be offering whole grain spaghetti and testing recipes with brown rice this year! Please encourage your children to try these options as offered.

Help us REDUCE waste by REUSING our #10 Cans!-
Our kitchen managers have used them in decorations, Easter baskets, and Trick or Treat buckets. If any organization (i.e. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts) or art teacher is interested in using #10 cans for crafts and other creative ideas, please contact the kitchen manager at your child's school.
Take a look at some of these Fun Craft Ideas!

Touch 'n Go Scanning
"Touch 'n Go" Scanning! The finger Scan system is simple, private, highly secure, and will continue to protect the privacy of students who receive free or reduced price meals. FINGER PRINTS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED. View this newsletter- Touch 'n Go.

We are Looking to Increase Parent Involvement!-
Please volunteer at your school during breakfast and lunch. Contact the kitchen manager at your child's school to find out how.

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications-
You may pick up a Free/Reduced Lunch Application at our central office 1000 Howard Ave. Suite 300, Monday through Friday, 7 am - 3 pm. Applications will also be available at your child's school.

No Charge Policy-
Many schools are enforcing the No Charge Policy which has previously been in effect, but not enforced. The National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program under the USDA does not allow for "charging" of meals when a child's account is empty. Please be sure that your child has sufficient funds in his/her account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
